John Lowrie Morrison OBE, or ‘Jolomo’, as he’s more commonly known, is one of the most popular landscape artists in Scotland, and we're very proud to say that he lives right here in Argyll. His work has found its way into homes across the country and beyond, and has been heartily endorsed by celebrities like Madonna, Sting and Rick Stein.

Jolomo is famous for maintaining an astonishing work rate. His distinctive style, which marries broad strokes with bold colours, allows him to complete his paintings extremely quickly; he can create more than a hundred paintings in a single month – often working six-day weeks in order to do so.

Jolomo’s work is ready available in various formats from The Square Peg, the range includes cards, calendars, mugs, coasters, place mats and pot stands all bearing examples of his distinctive style.
